So I was just pointed to this random post on the Harold B. Lee Library blog:
Apparently, I'm now famous for pushing the limits and getting BYU to actually allow pages to be created for networking on Facebook. It took about three months to get approval from the highest powers and my experiment was an utter failure, with hardly anyone joining the group and no one using it. It was, however, something new and it didn't cost us anything about the 14 minutes I spent putting the group together and led to a professional presentation about social networking sights here on campus.
Sure, it was an accomplishment being a pioneer, but unlike the comment implies, I doubt that this act alone could assure my Godhood status....

Way to go! It's cool resume fodder, that's for sure. I'm still working to get my library simply online. We're far from Facebook networking.
Was that a Matt that you know who put that comment? I could totally see Matt Thomas deciding to put a comment like that. Actually, I can think of a few Matts you know who might put that kind of comment.
I really don't know who this Matt is. I've had several people come up to me and ask me if I knew I was a god, so I decided to finally look at the blog posting.
Look at you - changing the world one small facebook page at a time...
Haha! That's cool!
